I had a fantastic stay at Dunbar Guest House. The check-in process was effortless, perfect for weary travelers like myself. The spacious room had a lovely balcony and plenty of storage space. I also appreciated the shared kitchen, which allowed me to cook my meals. The location was ideal, nestled in a quiet residential area with easy access to bus stops and shops. The hosts were incredibly helpful, and I even had the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow travelers. It was a comfortable and enjoyable experience overall.

    Nothing to fault. 👌

I was in Vancouver for a week-long business trip and the hotel was perfect for my needs. The room was spacious and had a large table where I could easily work on my computer. I loved having a balcony where I could relax and enjoy the fresh air. The security measures in place made me feel safe and the well-supplied kitchen was a great convenience. The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The house rules were reasonable and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The parking facilities were also excellent, which was a huge bonus. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Dunbar Guest House.

I was in Vancouver for a week to visit UBC and explore the city, and the hotel's location was perfect. The connection to public transportation to both UBC and downtown was excellent, and having a grocery store right next door was incredibly convenient. The neighborhood was lovely, with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The modern shower in my room was a nice touch, and the spaciousness of the room was impressive. The large table made it easy for me to work, and I loved having a balcony to relax on. The security was top-notch, and the well-equipped kitchen was a bonus. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel had great parking options. The helpful and friendly staff made my stay even more enjoyable!

    Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

On the positive side, the guest house was located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, providing a respite from the bustling city. Having a supermarket nearby was also a plus, as it made it easier to grab any essentials or snacks we needed during our stay. However, these two advantages were not enough to compensate for the overall discomfort and inconveniences we experienced during our time at the guest house.

the rooms were incredibly cramped and uncomfortable for two people. There was no space to put our luggage, and the additional bed in one of the rooms was so small that it was only suitable for a child.

The neighborhood was nice and the shower was modern. the location was convenient with easy access to major bus lines, making it easy to get around the city.

The outside upkeep of the property was quite unkempt, with the front and back garden looking abandoned and untidy. the rooms were also a bit disappointing, with small furniture and no place to put luggage.

The room was spacious and had a large table, perfect for my computer work. The bed was comfortable, allowing me to have a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the quiet area, which made it easy for me to relax during my Christmas stay.

It would have been nice to see them well-maintained. Additionally, the lack of clear communication from the host and the absence of any personal interaction made me feel disconnected and anonymous during my stay.

Had a comfortable stay with privacy in a shared house. The price was excellent, especially considering the amenities offered. The location was great, with easy access to major bus lines and a large grocery store just a short walk away.

The front and back gardens of the property were untidy and in need of improvement. It was difficult to find parking for a hired car, and there were cobwebs in the washroom.
